Check-in is completed directly with your airline, either online, through the airline’s mobile app or at the airport.

Flight itinerary purchases

Learn how Tripenger flight itineraries can help you prepare travel plans and supporting documents for visa applications and travel requirements.

Can I cancel or get a refund after my flight itinerary has been issued?

No. Once a flight itinerary document has been issued and delivered, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. This is because the service has already been completed and the document has been generated specifically for your request.

Can I change my flight itinerary after it has been issued?

Changes after issuance depend on the flight itinerary package selected. Some packages may allow amendments after the document has been issued, while others may not allow changes once the itinerary has been generated. Any available changes will be subject to the terms and conditions of your selected package.

To avoid delays or additional charges, please carefully check that all passenger details, travel dates, destinations, and flight information are correct before submitting your request.

Can I change my itinerary after receiving my visa?

Yes. Travel plans can sometimes change after a visa has been issued. However, you should ensure that any changes still comply with the conditions of your visa and that you meet all entry requirements when travelling.

Can I use a Tripenger itinerary for my visa application?

Many visa applications require evidence of planned travel, and a flight itinerary may be accepted as supporting documentation depending on the embassy or immigration authority. Requirements vary by country, so you should always check the official visa guidelines for your destination before submitting documents.

Does having a flight itinerary guarantee visa approval?

No. A flight itinerary is only one supporting document that may be requested during a visa application. Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant embassy, consulate, or immigration authority based on your complete application and individual circumstances.

Does Tripenger provide flight itineraries for visa applications?

Tripenger can help you find and prepare flight itinerary options that show your intended travel plans. These itineraries are for planning and visa application support purposes and are not the same as a confirmed airline ticket unless you complete a booking and receive a ticket from the airline or travel provider.

How are payments handled for flight itinerary requests?

Payments for flight itinerary services are processed securely through Stripe, the payment provider used by Tripenger. Once payment is successfully completed and your itinerary request has been processed, the document will be prepared and issued according to the details provided during the request.

How long does it take to receive my flight itinerary?

Processing times may vary depending on the service selected and the information provided. You will receive your itinerary once your request has been reviewed and completed.

What is a flight itinerary for visa purposes?

A flight itinerary for a visa application is a document showing your proposed air travel: who is travelling, which airports you plan to use, your departure and return dates, and the flights along your route. It helps explain your intended journey alongside the other documents in your application.

An itinerary may show proposed flights without creating a reservation, or it may include an airline booking reference linked to a reservation. It is not automatically a paid flight ticket.

What information does a flight itinerary include?

A flight itinerary will usually show:

  • Passenger names: the travellers included in the proposed journey.
  • Departure and arrival airports: including connecting airports where applicable.
  • Travel dates: the dates of each flight, including the return journey if planned.
  • Airlines and flight numbers: identifying the proposed flight services.
  • Departure and arrival times: including an arrival on the following day where applicable.
  • A booking reference, if included: a PNR associated with an airline reservation.

Check whether the document describes a proposed travel plan, an active reservation or an issued ticket. These are different documents, even when they display similar flight details.

Where can I download a sample flight itinerary?

Want to see what a flight itinerary looks like before ordering? Visit our flight itinerary options and downloadable samples to view examples with and without an airline booking reference. Use the samples to understand the document’s layout and flight details. They are marked as samples and cannot be used as your own reservation or submitted as evidence of your travel plans.

How do I read an itinerary with connecting flights?

Read each flight separately and follow the journey in date order. For example, a trip from London to Dubai via Addis Ababa should show both the London – Addis Ababa flight and the Addis Ababa – Dubai flight. Flight times are normally displayed in each airport’s local time. An overnight journey may arrive the next day, so check the arrival date as well as the departure date when comparing your itinerary with your accommodation and travel plans.

What should I check before submitting it?

Make sure your passenger names match your passport and that your route and dates agree with your visa form and other supporting documents. Check the complete journey, including connections and any planned return flight. If your itinerary includes a reservation, check its current status and ticketing deadline. A temporary reservation can expire before your visa application is decided. Most importantly, read the current checklist for your visa category and the office handling your application. Do not assume that a proposed itinerary meets a requirement for an airline reservation or an issued ticket.

Do I need an itinerary, a PNR reservation or a paid ticket?

The answer depends on your application’s instructions. A document showing proposed flights does not create an airline booking, and a booking reference alone does not prove that a ticket has been issued. For a detailed comparison, read our guide to flight itineraries, dummy tickets and PNR reservations. It explains the differences and what to check before choosing a service.
