Zimbabwe residents can lodge a Poland short-stay Schengen application at the Netherlands’ VFS Global centre in Harare; Poland says to check Polish requirements. The Polish Embassy in Pretoria also describes direct C-type applications there and requires a round-trip flight booking/reservation with dates and flight numbers. Its checklist discusses legal stay in South Africa for non-South African applicants, so confirm eligibility and entry arrangements before choosing Pretoria. A PNR is Tripenger’s recommendation, not an express requirement; the Harare route may use its own document checklist. These rules concern short-stay type C, not Polish national type D visas.

Recommended Flight Itinerary Type
Based on the guidance linked above, we recommend considering a flight reservation with a PNR to show your planned travel. Tripenger’s PNR package includes an airline booking reference, subject to airline availability. The guidance does not explicitly require a PNR, so please check the latest requirements with the relevant visa authority before ordering.
Choose Your Package and Order Your Flight ItineraryFor Zimbabweans planning a visit to Poland, the reason and length of the stay determine the visa route. Visiting friends or relatives, sightseeing in Warsaw or Krakow, and short business trips generally use a Schengen visa (type C), for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. A full degree, longer employment or residence usually needs a national visa (type D). Flight booking evidence appears in Poland’s published checklists, but the C and D submission procedures differ.
Short-stay applicants living in Zimbabwe can use the Netherlands’ VFS application location in Harare for Poland. National study and work applications use Poland’s own procedure, including its Embassy in Pretoria. Tripenger recommends a genuine reservation with a PNR when a flight booking is requested; the Dutch tourism allowance for a schedule alone should not automatically be applied to Poland.
Choose your flight itinerary when your journey and document requirement are clear. After visa approval, compare flights to Poland on Tripenger.
