Submit a Swiss Schengen application through VFS Global in Nairobi. The Kenya harmonised list asks for proof of return travel arrangements; general Kenya Schengen guidance accepts a preliminary ticket booking or travel itinerary and says that buying a ticket is unnecessary at this stage. A schedule without a PNR may fit that alternative wording, subject to the Swiss and VFS instructions for your application. If your centre requests a reservation, provide one.

Recommended Flight Itinerary Type

If you live in Kenya and are applying for a short-stay Switzerland Schengen visa, prepare flight evidence that matches your real route and the current document list for your purpose of travel.

Where to apply

VFS Global receives Swiss Schengen applications in Nairobi.

What to show for your flights

Show your return travel arrangements. The shared Kenya guidance allows a preliminary ticket booking or travel itinerary; a schedule-only itinerary may be suitable if the Swiss submission instructions do not ask for a reservation.

Choosing an itinerary

A schedule without a PNR shows proposed flights but cannot be looked up as an airline booking. It may fit a travel-itinerary option when the relevant centre permits it. If your document list asks for a reservation, use a genuine reservation instead.

Before you submit

Check the latest Swiss document list and the VFS instructions before choosing schedule-only evidence.
